Social & Emotional Skills Group

Hinsdale

  • Ages 5-7

  • Ages 8-12

This engaging 8-week group helps kids build confidence, emotional awareness, and stronger social connections. Through a fun Social Skills Curriculum and CBT strategies, they’ll learn how to manage emotions, make friends, and handle real-life situations. By the end, kids walk away with better communication, self-awareness, and resilience—all in a supportive small-group setting.

Self Empowerment Group

Hinsdale

  • Ages 8-12

This group helps kids build confidence, emotional awareness, and a strong sense of self. Through interactive activities, they’ll explore who they are, practice positive self-talk, and learn to express thoughts and feelings in healthy ways. By the end, they’ll feel more empowered, connected, and ready to handle life’s challenges with confidence. 

Executive Function & Emotion Regulation Group 

The purpose of this group is to explore the interconnectedness between executive function and emotion regulation. Together, we will examine the role of executive function. In addition, we will focus on how our body's response to stress impacts our ability to manage stress and focus. CBT and DBT modalities are utilized.

Teen Super Power

This group helps teens build confidence, self-awareness, and emotional resilience in a supportive space. Through guided activities and CBT-based tools, they’ll learn to manage stress, express emotions, and navigate life’s challenges. By the end, teens feel more empowered, connected, and confident in themselves and their relationships.

The purpose of this group is to explore the interconnectedness between executive function and emotion regulation. Teens will learn about the role of executive function. Also, we will focus on how our body's response to stress impacts our ability to manage stress and focus. CBT and DBT modalities are utilized.

Teen DBT Skills Group – Learn, Practice, Grow

This virtual group is designed for teens who want support managing emotions, handling stress, and improving relationships. In a safe, accepting online space, teens will learn practical Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills they can use at home, in school, and with friends.

 

Each session includes guided lessons, real-life practice, and group discussion focused on core DBT skills including mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and communication strategies. Teens will gain tools to feel more in control, more connected, and more confident in everyday life.

 

Many families find this group so helpful that multiple groups are offered to meet ongoing interest. Join us online to build lasting skills, meet others who understand, and grow together. 

In person or Virtual Support, Real Change

 

Join other adults learning skills to manage emotions, relationships, and daily stress.

DBT Skills Group – Learn, Practice, Grow

This virtual group offers a supportive and accessible space to learn and apply Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills from the comfort of home. Participants gain tools to manage emotions, improve relationships, and cope with stress, all within a warm, accepting, and confidential online environment.

 

Each session includes guided skill-building and real-time practice, with a focus on mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. The goal is to help you apply these skills in everyday situations, both in and outside of group.

 

Many clients find this group so beneficial that multiple sessions are now being offered to meet growing interest. Join us online to build confidence, resilience, and meaningful change together.
