Reasons to choose an out of network provider:

  1. By paying privately, your mental health information remains between us, giving you greater control over your privacy and the confidentiality of your records.

  2. Paying out of pocket gives you the freedom to receive personalized care that isn’t limited by insurance company policies or arbitrary session limits. You decide the course of your therapy, not the insurer.

  3. Private pay allows us to work at your pace, using the methods and strategies that best meet your unique needs, without having to ‘check boxes’ for an insurance company.

  4. By paying privately, you won’t be required to have a mental health diagnosis just to access therapy. We can focus on whatever brings you to therapy, without labeling it in a way that may not fully reflect your situation.

  5. When you pay privately, you can choose the therapist who you feel is the best fit for you, without worrying about whether they’re in-network or not. This allows for a more meaningful, comfortable, and effective therapeutic relationship.

  6. Paying privately ensures you get immediate access to the support you need. You won’t have to wait weeks or months to be seen by an in-network provider, especially during times of high demand.

  7. By paying privately, you can have more flexible, longer sessions when needed, allowing for deeper work and more comprehensive support.

  8. Think of therapy as an investment in your well-being and future. The value of high-quality, personalized care can lead to lasting improvements in your mental health, relationships, and quality of life.

  9. Paying privately eliminates the uncertainty of insurance denials or unexpected bills later on. You’ll have full transparency on costs from the beginning.

  10. Private payment allows us to focus on your overall well-being, addressing stress, life transitions, or preventive care, even if it doesn’t fit into a diagnosis. You’ll benefit from a more holistic approach to your mental health.

  11. By paying privately, you maintain full control over the therapeutic process. You decide the goals, pace, and direction of therapy without third-party involvement.
